We
offer a bouquet of ingratitude and insults to the living,
but a
bouquet of roses of praise and appreciation to the dead!
A rich man complained to his friend, “People don’t like me. They say I’m
selfish and stingy. And yet in my last will I have donated all
that I own to a charitable institution.” His friend said, “Well, may be the
story of the cow and pig has a lesson for you. The pig came to the cow and
complained. “people always talk about your friendliness. Well, it’s true: you
give them milk. But they get much much more from me. They get ham,
bacon and lard, and they even cook my feet. And yet, no one likes me.To all of
them I am just a pig, a hog. Why is that?” The cow thought it over a bit and
then said, “Perhaps it’s because I give while I am still alive.”
There is the parable of the two buckets which went o the well. “This is a miserable life,” said one. “No matter how full I am when I come out of the well, I always go back empty.”
“Dear me!” said the other bucket cheerfully. “I never thought of it like that. It seems to me so wonderful that no matter how often I go back to the well empty, I always come out full.”
Many a time we hear people complain that they are not loved by anyone. A close evaluation of the situation will prove that it is mainly because he doesn’t love others. Life can be rightly compared to a mirror. When we look at mirror what we see in it is just the resemblance of our face. If we look at it with a broad smile on lips, it also will surely smile back to us. Instead, if we approach it with a sad face it will reflect the same; Then what is the use of saying that others do not do something to us. When you sow something, you are destined to reap the same. The one who has sowed rice will reap only rice, not wheat. In other words, what we get from others is usually what we ourselves give them. It is a useless thing to lament on not getting something. If you want to be loved by others, first of all you should learn to love them. If you want to get respect, learn to respect others. In short, we don’t have the right to demand from others what we haven’t given them.
The Bible says: “Love one another as brothers, and be kind and humble with one another. Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when he called you. As the scripture says, "Whoever wants to enjoy life and wishes to see good times, must keep from speaking evil and stop telling lies. He must turn away from evil and do good; he must strive for peace with all his heart. For the Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their prayers, but he opposes those who do evil."Who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good? But even if you should suffer for doing what is right, how happy you are. Do not be afraid of anyone, and do not worry. But have reverence for Christ in your hearts, and honour him as Lord. Be ready at all times to answer anyone who asks you to explain the hope you have in you, but do it with gentleness and respect. Keep your conscience clear, so that when you are insulted, those who speak evil of your good conduct as followers of Christ will be ashamed of what they say. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if this should be God's will, than for doing evil” (The Bible, 1 Peter 3:8)

Once when I woke up in the
morning, I was asking myself; What are some of the secrets of success in
life? I found the answer right there, in my very room.
The fan said: Be Cool; The Roof Said: Aim High; The Window said: See the World; The Clock said: Every minute is precious; The Mirror said: Reflect before you Act; The calendar said: Be up-to-date; The Door said: Push hard for your goals
AND NOT TO FORGET, THE CARPET SAID... KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY.
Don’t Hurt anyone: It only takes a few seconds to hurt people you love and it can take years to heal.
Live today: There are two eternities that can really break you down.
Yesterday and tomorrow. One is gone and the other doesn’t exist. So live today!
Marriage: Do not marry a person that you know that you can live with, Only marry someone that you cannot live without.
Money: Money can buy everything but happiness.
Trust: It takes years to build trust and a few seconds to destroy it.

HAVE A
PURPOSEFUL DAY! 'God Blesses Us To Be A Blessing Unto Others'
A smile costs nothing but gives much.
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen for it is something that is of no value to anyone unless it is given away from within.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has none to give
A smile is the shortest distance between two people.
